Lecture by Mr. Alvaro Mozo

Mr. Alvaro Mozo, from GMV, will give a lecture on Orbit and Clock Determination and Prediction for GNSS systems. It will take place on May 27th, 2009, at room Q4-1013, from 16:00h to 20:00h.

The first part of the talk will be devoted to the description of orbit and clock determination algortihms in the context of the Galileo Experimentation Missions (GIOVE) as well as Space/Ground Based Augmentation Systems (S/GBAS). In the second part of the lectur, the participants will perform experiments with a software tool that implements those algorithms.

Alvaro Mozo García holds the degree of aerospace engineer. He is head of the Algorithms and Products Division within the GNSS business unit of GMV in Madrid, Spain. He has been involved in the development of the European Navigation System, Galileo, since its early stages.
