SPCOMNAV selected for the European Space Agency PRESTIGE Programme

The SPCOMNAV group has been selected to participate in the PRESTIGE Programme of the European Space Agency.  In recent years, ESA has identified the need to reinforce education/research in some precise technical domains seen as the key knowledge for future space programmes. In this context, the ESA PRESTIGE programme intends to foster that knowledge by granting research and training opportunities to European universities linked to specifically identified research activities.

The ESA PRESTIGE Programme offers intership opportunities with a duration of 1 year each one. The student stays during half of this period at the university and during the other half at ESTEC (European Space Reseach and Technology Center) in the Netherlands. The expected duration of collaboration between the university and ESA in the frame of this programme is 3 years.

The internships are aimed at master or PhD students. The technical field of the PRESTIGE Programme at SPCOMNAV is the design of new GNSS signals.
